DataFakery Studio allows developers, database administrators, and project managers to efficiently manage synthetic data generation with multiple data sources and supports complex data generation with dependencies between data. The application enables the following use cases:
As a Developer, you need to create an application from scratch, and you need to develop realistic demo data in your database for your presentation and testing. DataFakery improves this process by providing a GUI for data configuration and accessible exporting functions directly into the database or an export script file.
Your customer is a financial institute and has an air-tight high-security infrastructure. Your job is to develop an application or a data model based on the customer's data without direct access to the production data. Because DataFakery doesn't use central license validation or telemetry, you can easily install and access DataFakery Studio onsite and create an anonymized data copy for further processing. Such as validating the dump through the customer's compliance department and thus using the data in your DevOps pipeline for representative testing of your application.
You already have an existing database and some data available (e.g., 200 records). Your job is to stress-test or conduct a load test on your database. DataFakery helps you quickly generate additional millions of records and insert them directly into your database.
The automated testing in your DevOps pipeline creates a virtual and temporary infrastructure using Docker instances, and you need a representable database copy of your data. DataFakery allows you to easily create an exportable script consumed within a Dev(Sec)Ops pipeline.
